We’re currently accepting applications for host families in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast to host students between June and October 2023.
We have study tours going to schools in Yeronga, Mt Gravatt, Spring Hill, Tweed Heads, Southport and Jimboomba and are now seeking existing and new host families that can help us with these placements
Being a host family provides you and your family with a lovely cultural experience without leaving the comfort of your own home! It’s an amazing opportunity to meet people from different countries and living types, and you’ll make friends from all around the world. Often our students maintain contact with their host parents and siblings long after their visit has ended, continuing the relationship for years to come.
In addition to the cultural benefits, our host families are fairly remunerated to cover the costs of having another person in their home. This is not considered income by the ATO but it is accepted that the remuneration paid covers the costs involved.
